Pendulum of Design Innovation
The “Pendulum Thinking,” which allows one to oscillate between two realms – between “design” and “engineering,” “monogatari (storytelling)” and “monozukuri (creation)”, and “abstract” and “concrete” – is the unifying theme for takram. Together with methods on how to solve complex problems with their complexity intact as they are sublimated into newfound creations, some projects are showcased as exemplar crystallizations.
