Marc-André Baril is interactive director at Moment Factory. Since 2009, he has contributed to the growing profile of the company with innovative interactive experiences for clients such as Cirque du Soleil, Los Angeles World Airports (LAX), Nine Inch Nails, Disney, le Quartier des Spectacles de Montréal and Loto-Québec. His participation in the development of X-Agora, Moment Factory’s own interactive media playback system, his forward thinking approach to interactivity and his strong leadership led him to spearhead a brand new interactive team. Since 2012, he has been at the helm of this interdisciplinary team, exploring new production pipelines for the studio, and participating in the design, production and integration of generative and interactive content.
His passion for travel, digital art and technology recently led him to collaborate in the creation and production of the immersive experience Rouge Mekong, which debuted in 2013 at Montreal’s Société des Arts Technologiques. He holds a degree in interactive media from the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM).
