Overview
Flex excels at providing a rich set of UI components that are used in applications to help promote component based development principals, but sometimes those components are not enough. In this session Chafic will detail how to leverage the Flex component framework to rapidly develop application components as well as your own custom components.
Topics covered will include the component lifecycle, framework methodologies, custom events, styling support, and implementing your component API. Previous experience with Flex or ActionScript 3 recommended but not required. Prior experience in developing components not required.
