Stef is a product designer with over a decade of experience blending creativity and code. He discovered his passion for technology early, coding his first website at age 11 and drawing design inspiration from skateboard culture. Today, he works at Instagram in New York, where he builds AI creation tools.
Before Instagram, Stef co-founded Yello, a venture-backed startup developing AI tools for developers. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Meta, where he led design for Meta Spark (formerly Spark AR), helping grow it into a platform with over 600,000 creators and millions of AR effects. He also co-founded True Story, a design studio that partnered with clients ranging from early-stage startups to global brands including Nikon and Bausch+Lomb.
Off the clock, he’s swapping pixels for peaks, chasing deep powder or waves, depending on the season.
