Michael is a Senior Software Engineer for AOL Personal Media specializing in Flex/Flash/AIR application development. He is also an Adjunct Faculty at Rio Salado College where he teaches Flash and Internet design/development courses. Previously, Michael worked for Arizona State University developing Flash applications for the business school. Adobe recently published a case study of Michael’s work on the nGen project, a Flash course editing application developed for ASU’s College of Business. Michael has two graduate degrees from Arizona State University, one in Linguistics and another in Information Technology.
In his spare time away from coding marathons for AOL and personal projects Michael maintains a blog titled “Thanks, Mister!” where he offers Flex tips and tricks. Michael is currently working on several upcoming Flex projects for AOL including the recently released Bluestring application, a media management tool based on the open Xdrive API.
