Overview
Can we utilize extended reality (XR) technologies to create positive social impact? Are there ways that these can be leveraged to help improve our lives or address some of the broader social or environmental issues that we’re facing? What kind of use cases does this medium lend itself to?
XR designer Anastasia Victor aims to explore these questions through both precedent examples and the work that she has been developing within her own practice. This talk will provide a critical overview of extended reality technologies like augmented and virtual reality, including a brief history, as well as current developments and future applications.
