Overview
What do you do when you have downtime at work? When you’re in between meetings or waiting for client approval, does it feel like you should be doing something, but you don’t know what? Kia and Chris shed light on how to take advantage of those lulls at work through professional development (they call it practice) and what it means to them. They will reveal how it can be used as a tool to keep you energized and engaged during those slow periods at work.
Setting goals, easy wins, little to no buy-in with managers, they’ll talk about how to keep growing when work feels slow, inspiring yourself both in and out of the office, and what to do when you want to apply what you’ve learned. They’ll also share how the CAMP Festival website was a result of their practice.
