Kía is a mostly born and raised Albertan. She is currently a designer for gskinner.com, an interactive technology studio based in Edmonton, Alberta. Her work weeks typically revolve around UX/UI design, but when she gets the opportunity, she enjoys adding her love of illustration and 3D modelling into the mix. Kía also enjoys the process of learning new tools and skills and frequently writes blog posts which can be found at medium.com/gskinner-team.
In the past, she has been featured by the GDC, worked on a biology tower defence game for Macewan University and has designed work for the Ribbon Rouge Foundation, an organization that helps individuals living with HIV. When she isn’t sitting in front of a computer, Kía enjoys playing soccer and falling out of whitewater rafts.
