Overview
Project3media is a Web-based collaborative project where visual, multimedia, mixed media artists and designers work together in order to share and grow as a group of creative individuals. The project originated in 2001 on the Web, and has expanded to hosting art events, creating live visual projections and art installations throughout Toronto, Vancouver, Spain and Scotland. We are an open concept, non-hierarchical group, differentiating ourselves from other organizations and art collectives by focusing on creating collaborative works and multiple-author art. The collective is a not-for-profit, volunteer based group, which is continually exploring how the Web can be used as a basis for collaboration between artists and designers. The site features projects that encourage creative dialogue and promote local artists.
