Overview
Experimenting, learning, and creating new things is not only fun, but offers a huge boost to your professional growth. Sadly, with a busy schedule it can be excruciatingly difficult to do. This talk explores some of the ways you can find, make, or steal time to play.
Grant will tour a few of the weird, wacky, and even occasionally practical experiments he’s done over the years, and how they’ve helped guide his career from unemployed enthusiast, through first job, flying solo, and building a 20 person team.
He’ll also discuss the attempts he’s made within his team to encourage experimentation – both moderate successes and outright failures.
