Overview

The deekons movement which can be seen evolving on the internet on www.deekons.com is primarily about expression, communication, exploration / experimentation, and art. The deekons works in various media such as audio, video, computer generated, interactive, net art, live video processing, and the still undefined, and embraces accidental behaviour and randomness.

 

Some places where the deekons has shown works are New York, London, Thailand (MAF05 festival), Toronto (the ROM, Powerplant, Spin Gallery, Flashinthecan) and his bedroom. Currently showing an artwork at Digifest 2005’s WILD exhibition, Queen Quay gallery, Toronto, March 25 – May 15.

 

Th. Loa. known to be the father of the deekons is an artiste now based and working in Toronto while spending much of his life with and on his computer, the machine, and in the virtual world. He likes to think he’s, above all, an independent thinker.
