Controlling computers with our minds? Has technology really gotten there?
We are in the infancy of brain computer interface, the ability to slip on a slim little headband and open our mind to the world of possibilities is a lot closer than you think. Those possibilities include someday controlling our devices with our thoughts (for real!), having emotionally responsive UIs and helping us decode our own internal world and state. This last category offers the most promise for this space, as we enter the world of our own brains and learn to discover and manage the self in ways that impact our relationships, cognitive abilities and creativity in ways that we haven’t even thought of yet.
