Presentation

Overview

This workshop explores what we might call the “Extremely scaled down,” the “Ultra Lo-Fi,” or the “One-Man-Band” workflow. Jennifer Shiman, creator of 30-Second Bunnies Theatre, will screen selected bunnies shorts and other tidbits from her collection and outline her own work approach to making Flash animated cartoons for web and broadcast. She will also regale you with a compelling and mindblowing Powerpoint slideshow. Topics for discussion include: – Working from home and pajama-clad conference calls – Recording voices: your desktop mic and you – Action stroll through a bunnies Flash source file – In-depth look at the creative cycle, from elation to tearing hair out

Who this presentation is for:

Content developers, creators, designers, – anyone working on their own creative projects in whatever capacity (e.g. on their own; in addition to other work; as part of a team).

What attendees will walk away with:

Insight on one creator’s lifestyle/workstyle, and an understanding of the multiple creative and technical elements that go into producing a bunnies cartoon.
