Now in its third year, the 2004 FITC Festival is the only Canadian Festival of its kind; combining cutting edge seminars presented by internationally recognized speakers with awards that are product and company focused. Presented by FlashinTO, the Toronto based Flash user group, FITC attracts conference attendees and award entrees from Toronto, Canada, the US, Europe, Asia and Australia.
While designed as a showcase for Canadian digital media talent, FITC has developed into a local and international phenomenon. It has attracted so much international attention, international award winners often send acceptance speeches via digital video links or make the trip to Toronto at their own expense.
The FITC Festival is the vanguard of creative and technical innovation through the marriage of art and technology. The Iron Flash competition pits five two-man teams in a three-hour battle against the clock and each other to create the most compelling content application, in front of a live audience. Unique, creative, and stressful, it’s a winner-take-all battle royale for Flash supremacy!
