Overview

We are born creative people. As children we are taught at an early age to foster and cultivate our creativity through drawing, painting and craft. To have fun with what we create, and to display it with pride on elementary school walls, windows and hallways. The big question is… why do we so often lose sight of this facet of our lives?

James White of Signalnoise Studio takes us on a heartfelt journey into the past, diving deep into his personal archive of childhood drawings and projects. These funny, heartwarming and sometimes sad stories will connect the dots over 30 years, and illustrate how much we owe to the children we once were, how we saw the world and what we can learn from those tiny people in the past whose only goal was to have as much fun as possible.

Objective

Illustrate the creative foundation that was put into place during our childhood, and how this life-long journey plays an important role in what we, as artists, do today.
