Presentation

Overview

Erm, well maybe not. But Adam will take a [high level] look at node.js, the event-based sever-side javascript environment. He’ll also take a look at a few of the many uses for node.js, with simple simple examples and at some of the excellent modules that are available for node, including the fabulous socket.io web socket wrapper. Adam will use node.js, socket.io, jQuery and some other client-side libraries to build an application that facilitates 2-way, real-time, scalable communication between Browsers, Native Phone Apps (iOS and Android) and GoogleTV (and hopefully Kinect)

Entry to Mid-Level presentation – Basic knowledge of Javascript would be helpful.
