Originally hailing from Manchester, Chris is a self taught Motion Director, Photographer and Designer. Chris began working under the name Dstrukt 7 years ago producing work for a number of high end clients scattered globaly including MTV Networks Europe, Channel 5, BBC, EMI Records, Discovery Channel , BBC and VH1. Aside from his commercial productions Chris’ short experimental films have been featured around the world at festivals and events including One Dot Zero, Lumen Eclipse and recently the Aubagne Film Festival in France. He is also regularly featured in design and industry publications, such as IdN and Stash whilst presenting at design conferences and schools around the world including Etic, OFFF and FITC.
Chris is passionate about photography, traveling, music and cinema and channels these influences into his dark and edgy creations. He currently represented by L’Ambassade in Paris, Stem Agency in the UK and Transistor Studios in New York. When not making things move Chris is fascinated by number theories, tattoos, spirals, Carcharodon Carcharias and of course Napoleon Dynamite.
