Bobby van der Sluis works at Refunk, an award-winning creative agency based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, that specializes in Adobe Flash. He is a big fan of both web standards and Flash, and occasionally has the urge to write about these topics on his personal website or for an online magazine.
In the summer of 2005 Bobby somehow got involved in solving the Flash embed puzzle, and he is still working on this ever since. He is the creator of UFO and co-author of SWFObject 2.0, which are both well-known open-source JavaScript libraries for detecting the Adobe Flash Player and embedding Flash content in web pages.
