Bill grew up in Youngstown, Ohio and attended Youngstown State University for a bachelors degree in Fine Art Painting. In 1996, he moved to Greensboro, North Carolina to attend UNCGreensboro to earn his Masters of Fine Art in Painting/Digital Imaging. He was the first graduate student at UNCG to exhibit digital images for his thesis. He is currently an assistant professor at Rochester Institute of Technology where he teaches in the Department of Graphic Design.
