Japanese multimedia Artist (Sound Producer / Creative Director / Art Director / Game Designer / DJ) based in Kyoto, Japan.
He made his musical debut in 2004 by providing music to an American documentary film called “MOOG”.
His art design and sound direction for a Playstation 3 title “PixelJunk Eden” in 2008 has received international attention and acclaim from gaming audiences for its unique view.
One of the first Japanese titles to be nominated for more than one category at the Independent Games Festival award, and also nominated at the GDC Choice Awards. Nominations include Excellence in Visual Art, Excellence in Audio, Technical Excellence, and the GDC Best Downloadable Game.
Soon after, he has participated in production of “LittleBigPlanet2”, and was selected as one of 50 of the important game industry people to the current state of the game industry in the “Game Developer” magazine.
Continuing his work in the game industry, in June, 2012, he played a key role in the development of ”PixelJunk 4am” for PlayStation Move, overseeing art, sound design as well as the game concept.
Also he has been actively delivering lectures at home and overseas and in 2012 he joined Global Game Jam held in 243 spots of 46 countries as the keynote speaker along with Will Wright.
