Overview

Red5 is one of the most talked about open source projects for Flash, but many people think it’s just for streaming audio and video. Project leader Chris Allen will show attendees that Red5 can be used for much, much more, and will make it clear that Red5 is not just a simple FMS replacement. This powerful server offers a great way to tap into virtually any server-side API to create very compelling experiences. Chris will show off some of Red5’s latest features including AMF3 remoting, Life Cycle Data Services compatibility and edge/origin solutions.
