Overview
The utopian idea that Flash allows designers to become programmers and vice versa is not always the reality in professional team environments, or even in the loosely structured world of freelance collaboration. In this session, Robert Reinhardt draws on his experience in various production settings to share practical strategies for bridging the communication gap that often exists between gear head programmers and visual designers. He will present strategies that enable designers to efficiently manage production tasks and communicate design concepts accurately to programmers, and show how programmers can support designers by developing easy-to-use internal Flash project frameworks, file structures and components. Don’t let your next idea fall into the gap.
