Overview
Mars has always captivated us. It is a mystery in the skies. In the 1960s, humans finally started to explore it up close. Since then, we’ve sent spacecraft to fly by it, orbit it, and land on it. As you read this, there are a handful of robot rovers driving on its surface.
As you can imagine, these are not trivial projects. At NASA JPL, Bobak has been intimately involved in making them a reality. He’ll share his experiences developing, testing, and deploying these systems. We’ll hear about their growing pains and lessons learned along the way. And he’ll give us a peek into a day in the life of an operational rover.
