Overview
Take a second to imagine if you will, a development environment where a program’s behavior can be defined by a unique combination of different points between time and space.
Then imagine, altering the behavior of said program at runtime by manipulating those very points.
This is the world that Samuel Agesilas Pastel lives in. A world where computer science and the interactive arts co-exist to reduce the complexity of the creation of computer programs. Inspired by the elegance and efficiency of neurobiological systems. Samuel will discuss in detail how he used neural networks in ActionScript 3.0 to create Saffron, a UML modeling tool built on the Adobe AIR platform. In addition, Samuel will also discuss how adopting neural networks can reduce a lot of the complexity involved in software design, coding and maintenance.
Join Samuel for a fun and inspirational journey into an alternative way of thinking about software development with the Flash Platform and Actionscript 3.0. Without question expect a session that will blow the lid off of how you think about object oriented programming!
Cheers!
Audience:
Developers, interactive & interface designers, ActionScript hackers.
