Overview
Josh Harris has a knack for predicting the ways emerging technologies can shape the future. Long before social networking sites became mainstream, Josh conceptualized the all-encompassing public interactions we now have online by founding Pseudo.com, a live audio and video webcasting site. This concept was solidified by his film QUIET: We Live in Public.
With technology quickly and indefinitely evolving, Josh has continued to hypothesize how emerging technologies will shape the way people interact with each other, brands and environments.
At ETA, Josh will explore the concept of the singularities effect, a result of the average home becoming a production studio which overtakes traditional television studios. He’ll also discuss how home monitoring will be refined for security, entertainment and hygiene, causing mundane activities to become isolated entertaining and engaging events, as well as the implications of this.
