Overview
The next iteration of AngularJS is right around the corner, after months of hard work on improving the performance and memory footprint, as well as improving our developer tools and debugging support, and generally offering new features which make development easy and fun again.
Caitlin’s goal is to cover some of the enhancements in the 1.3 release, and give a solid introduction to writing performant applications for both beginning AngularJS developers as well as more seasoned ones.
OBJECTIVE
Caitlin wants to pull you in and introduce you to the new and exciting features of AngularJS and teach you how to minimize your time investment and LoC while delivering modern products.
TARGET AUDIENCE
AngularJS developers, persons interested in API design, or those who want to see application development made simple, those who are interested in ways to improve performance in popular javascript engines such as V8.
ASSUMED AUDIENCE KNOWLEDGE
Have experience with application frameworks, particularly AngularJS, EmberJS or Durandal.
THINGS AUDIENCE MEMBERS WILL LEARN
You’ll learn about the core performance hotspots of your applications, and how these issues are being tackled under the hood, and what tools you’re offered to help make this work better in your own code — additionally, you’ll get an introduction to the new developer tools which will be making your life easier, and last but not least, some of the new and cool features.
