Overview
The internet is now evolving into a worldwide operating system with distributed data storage, distributed computing, and real-time communication. This provides incredibly fertile ground to create a new generation of applications, but so far we see little improvement in these, and in many cases users of the web have been sent back 30 years in terms of application usability. In this talk, Lynch discusses the emergence of personal interfaces that provide great experiences across platforms and devices.
