Overview
Try out our new format in a participatory discussion on CSS, which is ever evolving and remains a powerful and sometimes under appreciated tool in the front-end developers toolbox. This B-Side session focuses on a series of moderated group discussions on the current state of CSS. Small groups will be formed to discuss a specific CSS topic, prepare a some key talking points, and then present them back to the larger group for a lively discussion.
Some topics of interest that we’ll focus on:
- New CSS features we can use now
- Interesting new layout techniques available with things like Grid and Flexbox
- Learning curve for new developers
- CSS in Javascript
- Obscure CSS tricks
