Overview

Virtual reality (VR) has the potential to transform how we interact with the online world. But convincing your brain to believing something is real when you know that it’s not isn’t easy to pull off.

Carlos’s session focuses on the challenges that creatives and developers face when creating experiences for the Oculus Rift. Many concepts and techniques should be familiar to interactive 3D designers, while others, like the sense of presence and physical comfort, are still under research.

Objective

Discuss and identify the potential and challenges of creating Virtual Reality experiences in general and for the Oculus Rift in particular.

Target Audience
