The Lovie Awards is the most prestigious, and the only, truly pan-European awards honouring online excellence.

We were especially excited to see two projects win last night:

Samsung VR Bedtime Stories by Unit9

"Samsung Bedtime VR Stories is a new kind of storytelling platform. We pushed the boundaries of VR using VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) technology to create a truly social environment that encouraged natural interaction and enabled parents and children separated in the real world to be united in a virtual one. Wearing individual VR headsets (specially designed cardboard mask for child and VR Gear for parent), they travel together through different worlds, carefully designed to be gentle and calming before bed."

We were lucky enough to have Samsung Developers as a wonderful sponsor last month for CAMP Festival in Calgary, and also to be working with Anrick Bregman & Yifei Chai of Unit9 as speakers for the upcoming FITC Amsterdam X - February 20-21, 2017.

Interactive Punching Bag by MediaMonks

Custom-made by MediaMonks from over 4,000 responsive LEDs, the digital punching bag allows you to donate by the punch to raise funds for cancer research. Punch in your personal details and go head-to-head against animated cancer cells in a literal fight against cancer."
