Overview
ColdFusion has been called the hyper-rapid server-side scripting language of this era. This seminar on ColdFusion will explore the possibilities of using one Macromedia technology to service another. As an alternative to other more complex server-side scripting languages, Kevil will demonstrate the basics of the ColdFusion language and how Flash developers can use it to easily add serious database power and content management to their Flash applications. He will demonstrate some of the recent award-winning projects Pangaea has deployed using Flash and ColdFusion development.
Topics that will be presented will include: Building a registration and authentication form; database access; flash content management; simple server-side scripting.
