Vincent Kong has been with RBC since 2014, originally as a Quality Assurance Analyst before working on front-end development. He has been leading his own team since 2019 in the Omni program and has implemented key Covid-19 intitiatives for the bank as such Digital Identity Verification and Remote Account Opening which enables clients to securely open new accounts with the branch advisors virtually.
Currently, Vincent is a Chapter Lead, which supports, fosters and organizes events for the front-end developers along with his fellow Chapter Leads. He has been following Formula One since 1996, and has actually driven on the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal (on his rented Honda Civic, unfortunately).
