Steve Mason heads conceptual, product, and interactive installation design at Obscura. His focus for the last five years has been on the synthesis of multi-user interaction, visualization, light, and large-scale environments. Having worked on signature marquee projects at the Sydney Opera House and Guggenheim Museum in New York, Mason’s holistic practice as both an artist and technologist has helped Obscura to maintain a unique position in the landscape of innovative agencies and technology labs worldwide. He drives research and development, thought leadership, creative direction, and long-term strategic planning.
