Ross Ladell is a lead programmer at Club Penguin, one of the largest and fastest-growing virtual worlds for children produced by Disney Online Studios Canada out of its headquarters in Kelowna, British Columbia.
Prior to joining Disney, Ross worked with Nike, Electronic Arts (EA), Blast Radius, Nokia, National Geographic and Effective UI. Ross also runs the Vancouver Flash/Flex User Group and has presented numerous workshops on ActionScript 3. Known for his leadership abilities, outside-the-box thinking and sense of humor (Ask him about his time doing standup comedy in Vancouver!), Ross loves working with projects and teams to implement best practices.
When he’s not busy having snowball fights with other penguins on the snow-covered, virtual island of Club Penguin, Ross likes to take pictures, go hiking, ride his bike and tackle noisy home improvement projects.
