Philip Cadoux is a Creative Technologist at DE-YAN who discovered his passion for computers as a kid while repeatedly trying (and failing) to uninstall the malware he somehow put on his dad’s computer. Since then, his interests have evolved into building real-time interactive experiences that feel intuitive, playful, and occasionally magical. He combines game engines, physical fabrication, and immersive environments into hands-on experiences people can explore.
At DE-YAN, Philip designs interactive systems and large-scale installations for brands including Meta, NBA 2K League, Louis Vuitton, and HOKA, focusing on real-time workflows that support complex, responsive experiences in live environments. His work often blends software architecture with physical interaction, drawing from game design principles to make technical systems feel approachable and engaging. Alongside client work, Philip builds custom arcade cabinets, using them as a playground to explore how technology can create simple, joyful moments. He has built cabinets for bars and brands, including Mike’s Hot Honey and Weezer.
He definitely doesn’t want you to ask him about themed restaurants… unless?
