Paul Brannen joined Samsung in 2007 as General Manager of the Mobile Communications division overseeing sales, marketing and product development. Since joining Samsung Paul has been instrumental in driving the organization to achieve its #1 Canadian market share position for 13 consecutive quarters.
Paul has over 17 years experience in the wireless and IT industry working in various leadership roles. Prior to Samsung, Paul led sales and business development for several North American companies, including Rogers Communications where he was the Vice President and General Manager of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).
From 1999 to 2003, Paul was Vice President of Sales & Marketing for IDC (International Data Corporation), where he created a domestic sales and marketing strategy along with implementing an Asia Pacific business development team for North America. Through Paul’s leadership IDC was able to double its revenue in Canada from $9M to over $18M in 2002. Prior to IDC Paul held various leadership positions within Compaq Canada during his 10 year tenure with Compaq.
Paul is a graduate of Carleton University and has furthered his management training at the Richard Ivey School of Business, Marketing Management Program.
Paul is married with three children.
