Jeremy WIlliams started his career in the waning years of COBOL mainframe application development, that’s right – the big iron. After helping the world narrowly escape the disaster that could have been y2k he moved on to the internets. Jeremy has spent the last 15 years getting into adventures and moving on to the next project much like Bruce Banner, but without all the rage. He mirrored the industry, working with whichever language was all the rage. Moving from Java to .Net, then dabbling in PHP and then spending the last few years in the trenches of Flex development. Since finally giving up his car phone for a smart phone Jeremy has started to focus on mobile development but still talks about how he started in COBOL as if it gives him some sort of credibility.
