Colin is the Director of Performance & Media Engineering at Shopify and co-author of the O’Reilly book High Performance Images, and contributing author of Image Optimization. He is passionate about the intersection of web performance, media, browsers and data.
He recently helped the community effort writing chapters in the Web Almanac, 24Ways and PerCalendar. Previously, Colin was in the CTO Office at Cloudinary and Akamai.
