Alan Smith is a slave to The Movement, where he is partner and Director of Invention. He teaches at York University/Sheridan College and he’s freelanced as a graphic designer and thinker across editorial, UX, broadcast, branding, and advertising. Extending his original role of designer to that of a businessman and risk taker, he believes that design thinking can be applied to much more than “design”. Alan loves to rethink big things, and then put shape to those new ideas.
