Overview
As Teknision has grown over the years, the biggest challenge we have faced is being able to take on bigger projects and get a whole team working on it at once. Developing Flash projects has always been something that was difficult to spread out across team members.
In this presentation, I will again turn to the Extensibility Layer of Flash and try to solve our specific internal issues as a firm. I will examine ways to alter the Flash Authoring Environment to get Designers, Developers, and Project Managers working as effectively as possible.
I will explore concepts such as Shared Project Files, JSFL and FlashCom, adding project meta data to FLA files for changes tracking. I will also take the time to show a few great extensions for designers and developers to eliminate repetitive tasks faced by all of us.
This presentation will not cover JSFL or coding, instead I will focus on problems and the direction we took to circumvent or eliminate them.
