MULTI. SCREEN. APPS.
A fairly new term floating around is second screen apps. This is the
concept of using interacting applications on multiple devices at the
same time. They do different things, as opposed to just mirroring the
experience. They expand upon the experience which can create a benefit
for user experience, screen real estate, or amount of information
displayed. In this session we will discuss why this is the next up and
coming technology, possible applications, and how to develop your very
own multi-screen experience. We will focus on Smart TV platforms such
as Google TV, and Mobile platforms such as Android and iOS.
