Overview

If you have used a Windows Phone, Windows 8 or the new XBOX Dashboard then you’ve already been immersed in it but you may not realize what it is.  Microsoft’s new design language called Metro is fresh, bold and very distinct.  The Windows 8 and Windows Phone experience is driven through the Metro design language and as such Metro is of strategic importance to Microsoft.  In this session you will learn how Metro drives an immersive user experience, how Metro was created and what ultimately what Metro is and isn’t.
