Overview

In this session, Zach will discuss how to use Flex to build desktop applications that target the Adobe Integrated Runtime. Starting from a birds-eye view of the runtime, discussing features and the question of “Why AIR?” Zach will end by building a working RSS reader in around 60 lines of code. It is recommended that you have at least basic knowledge of Flex or experience with ActionScript 3 to attend this session, though it is not required.
