Presentation
Most of us experience the world through sight, and increasingly, computers are too. Computer vision and other sensor-based technologies are turning our interactions with software into a more ambient and responsive relationship than ever before. As designers, artists, and programmers, we had better make those relationships mean something.
I’m going to walk you through some of the tools you can use to help your software see: such as openCV, Microsoft Kinect, and OpenFrameworks. We’ll go through the how, why, and when to use those tools, and apply them in the design and implementation of an interactive environment.
