Overview
Fast Company describes Derivative’s TouchDesigner as something like Microsoft’s Surface, something like the G-Speak Minority Report user interface, and something totally new. It’s also at the core of some very interesting projects involving interactive user interfaces, multi-projections, 3D, video mapping and mixing.
Greg Hermanovic (derivative.ca) and Markus Heckmann (wuestenarchitekten.com) will help you understand how TouchDesigner’s procedural visual programming environment facilitates the prototyping and creation of interactive systems from DIY to large-scale deployments.
Markus and Greg will show Kantan Mapper, a recent projection mapping tool within TouchDesigner, plus a brief look at Amon Tobin’s ISAM, the YouTube Guggenheim Awards, the Prada Epicenter Tokyo and others
