It’s challenging today, working for radio and television. A lot of awesome digital services are turning things upside down. Spotify, Netflix, Pandora and not to mention: the almost old-skool Youtube. It’s easy, of course, to say that Radio will die. The difficult part is to acknowledge it’s strength and innovate it’s existing online experience. It requires balls. Balls to fail. And to fail again. To iterate, learn and maybe fail a third time. Our industry is evolving towards virtual product design, and in order to move forward, we need to collaborate. Designers, developers, product managers and strategic experts… we should all work closely together to create, test and improve online driven experiences in popular culture such as Radio & Television.
In this session Thomas will talk about the lessons learned after a year of innovative prototyping with Belgium’s leading Radio & Television Broadcaster (VRT). No balls, no innovation.
