In recent years the Canadian mobile/wireless environment has really sucked. Canadians have suffered the highest pricing in the developed world for wireless services and among the lowest penetration rates of mobile phone and smart phone usage. But things have been changing. First came the iphone bringing better data plans and a one-stop-shop global platform for app developers. Now with more platforms opening from RIM, Microsoft, Android and others and new wireless competition on the horizon, is Canada ready for a mobile renaissance?
