Overview

Technology grows at an exponential pace. In less than 10 years, the mobile space went from “recently born” to “fully adopted” globally. Today, new technologies are emerging in the human-computer interaction (HCI) field: Kinect, Space Operative System (g-speak), Brain-computing interface (emotiv), among others. With such a fast pace, what can we expect from the future? Certainly, it’s not about mobile devices, it’s about mobility; it’s not about applications, it’s about computational power; it’s not about technology, it’s about the control of our reality.

I intend to draw a simple line between current projects on HCI, the future of mobile technologies, and how data visualization is the link between them.
