Overview
Actionscript frameworks like Away3D and Starling help us to take advantage of GPU acceleration with Stage3D. Have you always wanted to know more on how to combine those frameworks together?
In this session Marlu will fly you through the setup of the project ‘Planes’: an online campaign that was recently created for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to promote their partnership with the new Disney Film Planes. Planes combines the latest Away3D 4.1 Gold release, Starling and Flash 2D elements to create a fun application where the visitors can model and create their own 3D plane, which can be saved and viewed later in a gallery. Using the ‘Planes’ project Marlu will not only look at Stage3D and related development and design challenges that came with it, but she will also dive into the modelling process that was used for the planes.
Sit back and relax for 30 minutes of some (coding) fun.
