Overview
In this talk, Kim will look at ways of using inquisition toward finding practical approaches to living a creative life through anecdotes from my her journey. Since leaving her high performing agency job to focus on art she has found herself confronted with redefining how she views the total concept of being an artist, not only making art. Kim has found an undeniable connection between the concept of purpose and building a creative practice that allows for greater satisfaction with the work and more joy in the process. With bills to pay, obligations to serve, and unexpected life challenges in the way, it’s easy to lose sight of having the agency to make real change – or at times, having a creative practice at all.
